The last time I edited anything was my second video production class in college. I used a Panasonic dual S-VHS deck with very little forgiveness for sound editing. I preferred it to the Amiga/Video Toaster combo also offered. My editing always took place within 24 hours of the due date, and I rocked a few projects in those bleary-eyed non-caffeine-fueled sessions. Hot damn, I miss editing.
iMovie ‘08 is an absolute nightmare with precision, but that’s what I had to deal with in college. I guess I’d rather eyeball and “earball” cuts.
